In true Scorpio form, I went extreme and got a huge one!
Hey, it's my first tatt -go big or go home!:-)
Oh yeah, gotta give a shout-out to Philadelphia Eddie's tattoo….they do amazing work!
Would you get a Zodiac tattoo? Why or why not?
I did! I got the libra scales on my back, like up on my right shoulder, not very big, about the size of a half dollar. What I really wanted was to get the scales with two winged (maybe like fairy creatures on each side tipping them) one angel one devil (for gemini my moon sign to represent good girl bad girl) but the scales would have had to be really big so I just went for the small more tasteful looking tat.
right ive got a tribal tattoo on my right arm its only small but can it get thickend
Well, that depends on the tattoo. Go to a GOOD tattoo artist. The artist will tell you if he can do anything with it. Get references if you can. The last thing you want is to have the tattoo looking worse.
I think I saw the guy in an ad for Abercrombie and Fitch a few years back.
I think it is Ainsworth Hartley (thanks, Hysteria!), but when I Google him NOTHING comes up. Does anyone know where I can find a pic of him?
Ainsworth Hartley
My husband has an old tribal sun tattoo on his left shoulder. Similar to this one: http://www.tattoonow.com/images/catalog/products/S3S9D7ME.jpg
It is very poor quality, and he would like to get it covered or fixed, he is wondering if the black ink COULD be covered with color?
Here are some similar designs he would like if possible… http://www.tattoosandink.com/images/sun_tattoo_1.jpg
you know, a good artist can fix ANYTHING. everybody here will probably tell you something different so its best that you and he go do some research at different tattoo parlors talking to lots of artists. normally black ink cant be covered up, it can just be highlighted. but like i said, a good artist can make anything look bada**. look at portfolios, listen to what other people tell you about the artist, and see how you feel when you talk to them. thats the only way. he can definitely get it covered up but the quality he wants is going to have to be found in the artist. good luck
I have a star tattoo that i dont really like anymore and want to get it redone what should i do to it?

I want to get a tat of a scorpion on my left pec or on the side of my abdomen… I’m not a Scorpio… but I just like the scorpion itself and what it represents… Does everyone automatically think when they see a scorpion tattoo that the person is a Scorp?
I would say no they don’t. My boyfriend has a scorpion on his arm and no one has even asked if that is why he got it actually. He is a gemini and like you just got it cause he likes the scorpion itself. And honestly, if it is something you like, don’t worry about others think, get it cause you like it and its your body.
Good luck!
I was thinking maybe a vine? - thanks
maybe just a simple drop shadow. would make it pop and look like it is laying on your skin
Koi - That's a played out tattoo. Get something original, every female gets that fish.
I've been thinking about getting my first tatto for my 19 b-day.
