Well, sweetie, that depends on the size of the star, the efficiency of the artist and your cooperation. If the star is about the size of a half-dollar or smaller than that, then it should take the artist about maybe 20 minutes (if she/he is a pro and if you don't move a lot). She/He would start by doing the outline in black, then doing the coloring and the shading.

It also depends on your cooperation, if you move a lot it will take longer. I would say about 30-40 minutes

depends how small. i have 2 on my foot (each is smaller than a dime) and they took about 20 min. to do both. including consultation and set-up, i'd say the whole thing, from walking in the door to walking out took only an hour. but the shop wasn't busy and i knew what i wanted right away.

i have a moon and a star on my shoulder, and the moon is blue and the star is yellow, it took all of 5 minutes to actually have it tattooed. very simple tattoo

i have 3 small starz on my back the larger of the 3 is about 3 inches the smaller 2inch aprox they took around 15 -20 mins
