3rd session

People really have an abundant imagination. This fairy tattoo drawn at the back of this lady is such a spectacular creativity done by her artist. You can really see how each detail of the tattoo was carefully thought of.

Day One Hundred and Twelve: form, in female fashion

Another common tattoo that people appreciate being drawn on their body is dragon tattoo. For most people dragon tattoo speaks about toughness in the outside yet soft hearted on the inside. This brings another wild side of the person wearing this tattoo but remember that this is just an expression of someone with a different perspective in life as well.

The star would be ble and green with a black outline

Well, sweetie, that depends on the size of the star, the efficiency of the artist and your cooperation. If the star is about the size of a half-dollar or smaller than that, then it should take the artist about maybe 20 minutes (if she/he is a pro and if you don't move a lot). She/He would start by doing the outline in black, then doing the coloring and the shading.

Hope this helps!

I am thinking of getting a tattoo (to match my brother's, who just shipped out to Iraq for a year) but want to have some idea of how much it will cost without having to go into a tattoo shop. It is a one color (black) Punisher skull tattoo.

I think it's great you want to get a tattoo to match your brothers. My brother just got back from his tour in Afganastan. The important thing to remember is that each shop and artist are different. Most places charge about $100 per hour. A good artist should be able to do that tattoo in less than hour. Most places have a minimum charge for work like that ranging from $40 - $60. I hope my answer helps, ink on friend and may god protect your brother.

It will be pretty small, and on my lower stomach or hip is out of the question because of stretching with pregnacy.

I think maybe between your shoulder blades. And maybe have the rose above the text….and have the text curved to look like a "smile" :)

November 25th, 2008what dose a koi fish mean?

cause i am going to get a koi fish tattoo on my leg and every one tills me it means good luck. What dose it really mean?

Koi are ancient Tabeten fish not Japanese. In China this means long life. However it is the position of the fish that changes the meaning, for example a koi pointing west means one thing a koi pointing north and west (vertical and head cocked to the right) means another. It depends on what you get and the colors you have it done in. Email with what you are thinking and I'll tell you what they mean.

November 25th, 2008japanese inspired tattoo?

i am in the process of planning out a sleeve which will be my only tattoo. i really like the theme of the st michael archangel scene and i came across an artist's profile that incorporated that with traditional japanese tattoo. i havent seen anything else on the web which blended styles as this. i am really into it becasue i love that japanese style as well, but is there something negative about altering the style. again, i ask this becasue i havent seen anything else like it.
the entire tattoo would be japanese style. demons, dragon with water on the bottom and a japanese influenced angel with bolts, wind on the top.

Kind of confused on what you're aiming for here. St Michael's Archangel surrounded or influenced by Japanese style?

I endorse a full, tradtitional Japanese sleeve, those are great. I wouldn't merge the two styles (I have a sleeve, which is mostly Japanese, but broken by some contemporary American) and I wish it was just strictly Japanese. But, remember the important thing is…..Do you like it and are you willing to live with this decision.

so im thinking about getting a tattoo with a green shamrock and then possibly getting a blue or gold ND in the center and Fightin Irish under the shamrock.
Does anyone know of a good design or could they create one for me?
Also, Im not sure where to put it. I was think the lower back on the right side.
Any ideas?

Have a look on bmeink.com, it's a gallery of thousands of tattoos that might inspire you.

As for position, it's entirely up to you. Don't let anybody else tell you what to do with your own body.
