Jesus Crist Tattoo

The image of Jesus as a tattoo design is the most “Christian” of all religious tattoos. When it comes to modern Christian tattoo, it can most likely be traced back to the times of the counterculture movement of the 60’s and 70’s. While sex, drugs, and rock and roll were waging a war against Christian culture, devoted Christians emerged who wanted to claim back lost Christian territory.

Family Members

A simple interpretation of this tattoo is clear. It shows a figure of a cross made of names of family members. There maybe a lot of reasons why it was printed that way, but the nearest would be is as a remembrance of these specials people of his life who are at peace.

Cross Tattoo

This tattoo has a good significance because it uses nails and thorns as a design in making the cross which gives a good relationship since during the crucifixion of Jesus, these materials were used when he was hung on the cross.

Big Cross Tattoo With Wings

This is a big ol’ cross tattoo on someone’s back, with wings and all.  I like plain black tattoos for their simplicity.  I wonder what it means to this person?  Is he religious, or is the meaning elsewhere?

Back tattoos that have symmetry, like this cross tattoo, have to be done very carefully so they’re not even the littlest bit lopsided.  If it is, it will be really obvious  and look awful.  If you get a tattoo like this, have a friend or two come with you to check it out before the artist begins, so you’re sure the placement is correct.  You won’t be able to tell since it’s on your back.

There are all kinds of cross tattoos we’ll continue to feature as it’s one of the most popular designs.  Celtic crosses, more traditional Catholic scenes with crosses.  Lots of people also like getting tattoos feature Jesus on a cross, or some other variation on that theme.  Do you think crosses make a cool tattoo?
