Does Anyone Know How Much a Celtic Armband Tattoo Should Cost?
loading...
I know it varies by tattoo artist, etc, but does anyone know of maybe a possible range or pricing that one could expect to pay? I'm looking to get a Celtic knot weave type arm band around my bicep. Possibly both arms, but I'm wondering what a good price range would be first. I would prefer the knotwork to be about 1.5 – 2 inches in width, and obviously continue around the entire arm and connect. Most likely just want the ink to be all black with no other colors, or dark outlines with shading to enhance the look of the knotwork. Also looking for a good website or place to find information on various knots and Celtic meanings for tattoos.
The price really depends on where you live. In a big city, it might cost $300, but then in a small town, it might only be $100. It would be best to just pop in to a studio and get an estimate. As far as a site for looking at celtic tattoos:

From how much my tattoos cost (I have a pair of wings on my back that go from shoulder to shoulder and about 1/2 way down and symbol on my forearm) I would say around $60-$120. My back cost $200 for 4 hours and my arm was $60 (included color).

I have a celtic knot on my shoulder blade that is about 2" by 3". It took just under an hour, but it has quite a bit of color, and it was $80. To go all the way around your arm might take a session or two, and will probably cost $200+. Knotwork is pretty intricate, and if it's custom, like mine was, it'll cost more.

depends on the tattooist, you should go get some quotes for an accurate price

$100 to 200 …..bring in a picture of the work you would like the tattoo artist will be able to give you a more accurate quote…and he/she can modify it to personalize the tattoo to make it your own…
