In the Aztec culture, religion and the many gods were very important. The daily life of the Aztecs was meant to honor and to please their Gods. The ancient Aztec Tattoo designs were rather rudimentary and designed for a variety of reasons; a) during rituals in honor of a specific god b) to differentiate between the different tribes. c) to mark a person’s status and to show a warrior’s rank and accomplishments. People nowadays are interested in Aztec tribal tattoos because of their symbolic meaning and a feeling of connection with the ancient and powerful culture of the Aztecs. How about you?
