I hate the typical tattoos of roses you get.
They're so rubbish and unorigional, i don't want to look at it in 40 years and think, everybody else has one of these.

What can i do to get a more original one? I love oranges and black, any images I could work with? Cheers.
i've got a rose tattoo on my wrist with my daughters name underneath but since i've had it done every1 seems to have 1. I wasn't sure when I was having it and now regret it wen u see the right design u'll no but if u have any doulbt DON'T GET IT DONE. Don't be scared to tell the tattooiist that you've changed your mind. Black roses are a bit gothic but look great.

Why not design/draw the tattoo you want yourself. A good tattoo artist will be able to copy it.

Do you know anyone who's really good at drawing? My friend is a great artist and i told her what kind of tattoo i wanted and she drew exactly that. I made a few changes and then took it to a tattooist who did it. 6 years on, i still love it and it's completely unique, i'm pretty damn sure no one else has the tattoo my friend drew for me!

Pick an unusual coloured rose like a blue, yellow or orange rose. Most people would have red.

The tattoo artist will gladly draw out an original one for you, just ask the person who will be doing the tattoo

You could maybe have a bash at sketching something out, or find a good artist, and they should be able to turn your ideas into something workable.
You could even look at designs and take the bits you like (I did this for one of mines because I couldn't think what I wanted for it).

Why dont you play around with an old school rose, they will always look good or instead of a rose why not try a lotus, they look very cool in black and orange

Just cause you change the colors doesn't make it an original idea. Flowers have been done, and will continue to be done. So maybe if you don't bash everyone who likes more traditional colors, people with some beautiful flower tattoos might help you come up with some ideas.
