There is no such thing as luck and it is only a sin against the body, not a sin against God. I am a preacher and I have a tattoo of a black widow spider on my arm.

I’ve never heard of this, i suppose it depends on how superstitious you are.

I know someone that’s just had a cross with writing in it as a memorial tattoo and he didn’t hear this.

There is nothing spritually wrong with tattoos. Lev speaks against it, but Christian doctrine states that Jesus came to fulfill the laws. So if you follow Lev on tattoos then you must also refrain from eating shellfish and wearing mixed clothing fibers.
You don’t get to cherry pick. Either you accept that Lev is nullified by Jesus or you don’t.

The last thing a tattoo “artist” wants to do is tattoo a cross…unless it seriously has some meaning to him and it has a little originality to it…i would try and suggest that he thinks about what he puts on his body and consider a more original tat

I don’t know about bad luck, but the bible
does say to not cut or mark your bodies, so
if it was me, I wouldn’t.

Just wondering what the cross actually
means to him? Madonna wears a cross but
her lifestyle doesn’t fit a true Christian cross.
