I am considering getting a cross tattoo but I am not very religious, but I do have my faith. I am looking for tattoo ideas that might be a little more "in-line" with my beliefs and practices. Hope this makes sense

I'm a Christian and I'm getting a cross on my chest. I'm also debating angel wings on my back and shoulders (Even though angels don't technically have wings, cherebs do).

Your best bet, would be to visit a tattoo place…look through their books of different tattoos the artists have done..perhaps even sit with one if they have time….and ask if he /she could draw you up something to suit your beliefs* I'm sure between the two of you, you can come up with something that you'll love to wear for life*

Honestly, if you goto a good artist, they'd probably prefer to come up with something for you. They will have pics for you to chose from, but usually prefer to add their own touch based on your interests. Good Luck!

Make sure you pick something that means alot to you. This tattoo is going to be on you for the rest of your life, and when you're 90 are you really going to want Snoopy on your butt? hehe. There's tons of pictures online. There's a great website I looked at when I was looking for ideas for my new tattoo. http://www.bmezine.com They're great and have a ton of different pictures. Pick something that you like, and then have your tattoo guy add your own personal touch to it.

It's hard to guide someone on design choice….but crosses are done to death….best used for memorials or religious pieces….as far as whats in line with you only you will know…but know that whatever it is dies with you……so you'd better love it!
