I was wanting to know if it is wrong for a Christian to get a Celtic Tree of Life tattoo….to me it meant that it bridged the gap between heaven and earth but after doing some research on it I found that it came a mixed belief of the Druids and Christians..the Druidic meaning was about the love of nature and how a tree grows..can someone please clear this up for me cause this is the tattoo that I might end up getting but I wanna make sure of what I get permanently written on my body. Thanks

Religion and spirituality aside. Tattoos are personal things if you get a Celtic Tree of Life tattooed on YOUR body it means what you want it to mean because it is forever after a part of YOU and what it means to YOU is what matters not what people in your congregation think.

It is fair to say that the Celtic Tree of Life bridges the gap between Heaven and earth…well, sort of, anyhow.
The Celtic Tree of Life is an image of the Otherworld. The roots were deep in the earth and the branches stretched to the heavens. Its trunk exists within this realm.

    EDIT:
There is alot more to it than that, of course, and, at it's roots (pun intended) the Celtic Tree of Life is a pagan symbol.
However, I like what Uncle Tim said. If you do decide to have this beautiful symbol tattooed on your body, it is now a part of YOU, and what it means to YOU is what is important.
