The Claddagh is a type of Irish Tattoo that is said to represent love, loyalty, and friendship. The other type is called the Shamrock chosen by some men and women of Irish decent to signify good luck as well as their Irish heritage. Other Irish designs are the Celtic knots with intricate patterns, the harp as a traditional symbol of Ireland, and words such as names or sayings in Gaelic.
